Wharton-Infosys Business Transformation Award

The Wharton-Infosys Business Transformation Award is becoming one of the world’s most prestigious international awards. The Mack Center is pleased to host the Wharton-Infosys Business Transformation Awards at Wharton. We provide research on nominees, work with Infosys Technologies to refine the award process, and Wharton and Mack Center representatives attend WIBTA award ceremonies which are held in four world capitals, each year.

The Mack Center is the Wharton home of these awards, which recognize pioneering achievements in the development and use of information technology to effect change.  Awards are presented to enterprises and individuals in four regions: Asia/Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America .

Recipients have included: Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, founder of Biocon; Nklas Zennström and Janus Friis, co-founders of Skype; Enrique Gomez Junco B., founder of Optima Energía, a provider of environmentally friendly energy and water solutions; and Leroy Hood, for technology innovations in molecular biology.

Award winning firms have included: Southwest Airlines, Inditex Group, InnoCentive, TecMédica and FUNDESMA.
